Shipping Pricing and Quotes

As of 2026, Shiny Cabinets calculates shipping costs separately from cabinet pricing. Product prices on our website do not include shipping. We ship to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C. Please note that shipping rates are calculated based on the proximity of your delivery address to our sourcing warehouses.

To receive a shipping quote, please contact us. When we provide a shipping quote, we will also share the manufacturer’s estimated ship or delivery timeframe available at that time.

Typical shipping estimates for planning purposes only:

  • Unassembled (RTA / flat-pack) orders often total approximately 10–12% of the total order value for shipping.
  • Assembled orders often total approximately 15–18% of the total order value for shipping.

These are estimates only and may vary by location, order size, pallet count, and carrier requirements.

Order Processing and Lead Times

What “processing” means

Processing time is the time required to review and prepare your order for shipment. This may include payment verification, order review, coordinating inventory allocation, picking and packing, palletizing or shrink-wrapping for freight shipments, and scheduling carrier pickup.

Processing time is not the same as transit time or final delivery time.

Unassembled (RTA / flat-pack) Cabinets

Most orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days.

After processing, the order is shipped on the next available truck leaving the origin facility. Truck frequency varies by destination. Some areas may have trucks once a week, while others may have multiple trucks per week.

These timing estimates are mainly based on Forevermark fulfillment patterns.

For US Cabinet Depot, lead times may be longer depending on whether the nearest warehouse stocks that specific door style and items. If inventory must be transferred from another warehouse, additional time may be required before shipment. US Cabinet Depot’s warehouse-based fulfillment documents also show that transfers and modifications can add extra days.

Small Unassembled Orders

Smaller unassembled orders, typically up to 5 cabinets, may occasionally ship through parcel carriers such as FedEx Ground or similar services, depending on size, weight, and packaging. These shipments are usually processed within 2–3 business days.

Assembled Cabinets

Assembled cabinets typically require 5–10 business days of assembly and preparation time depending on the current production workload before the order is released for shipment.

Modifications

Orders that include cabinet modifications, such as depth modifications, may add a few additional business days beyond the standard assembled lead time, depending on the type and quantity of modifications.

Backorders and Split Shipments

If any item is on backorder or temporarily out of stock, it may delay the shipment.

Backordered items may either:

  • ship separately when available, or
  • ship together once all items are available.

This type of partial or split fulfillment is common across cabinet sellers and distributors.

Shipping Methods

Most cabinet orders ship via palletized LTL freight.

Shiny Cabinets uses manufacturer-approved delivery companies and insured shipping methods. We do not arrange shipping through customer-selected third-party freight companies outside the manufacturer-approved logistics network.

Freight Delivery Basics

  • Delivery is typically curbside or driveway delivery only.
  • The carrier unloads the pallet to ground level at the curbside or driveway.
  • Inside delivery is not included. However, if the garage is easily accessible, the driver may place the items inside using a forklift at their discretion.
  • The customer is responsible for moving the cabinets inside the property.

Liftgate Service

Residential deliveries may require liftgate service, which allows the freight carrier to safely lower pallets from the truck to ground level.

It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure there is a clear and safe path, including enough driveway access, so that the truck can approach and unload properly.

Large freight deliveries commonly depend on truck access conditions, and cabinet sellers often warn that narrow roads, gated communities, and limited-access sites can affect delivery or cause added fees.

Estimated Delivery Time (Not Guaranteed)

All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Freight (LTL) Deliveries

Typical delivery occurs within an estimated 5–21 business days after order processing, depending on distance, carrier routing, terminal scheduling, and delivery appointment timing.

Parcel Deliveries for Small Unassembled Orders

For unassembled cabinet shipments sent through parcel carriers, delivery may occur within an estimated 3–10 business days after processing, depending on destination and carrier conditions.

Like other cabinet sellers, Shiny Cabinets does not guarantee specific delivery dates. Freight deliveries may be affected by weather, traffic, carrier scheduling, terminal delays, and other circumstances outside our control.

Delivery Appointments, Site Access, and Receiving

The freight carrier contacts the customer directly to schedule a delivery appointment.

The customer, or an authorized adult representative, must be present to receive and sign for the shipment.

If delivery cannot be completed because of customer unavailability, incorrect address details, or lack of safe access for the truck, the carrier may charge redelivery, storage, reconsignment, or return-related fees. These charges may be the customer’s responsibility.

Optional Warehouse Pickup (When Available)

Pickup may be available for certain brands and locations when warehouse rules allow it. Pickup must always be scheduled in advance.

Same-day pickups are not available, even for unassembled orders.

Forevermark Pickup Options

When applicable, Shiny Cabinets may offer pickup in select Forevermark-related hubs, including:

  • Washington DC area (Northern Virginia)
  • Richmond, VA
  • Chicago, IL

US Cabinet Depot Pickup Options

When applicable, Shiny Cabinets does offer pickup in major metro areas served by US Cabinet Depot warehouse locations across the United States.

US Cabinet Depot publicly lists multiple warehouse locations, and current warehouse expansion and location materials support the idea of pickup availability depending on stocked inventory and warehouse readiness.

If the required style or parts are not stocked at the nearest warehouse, transfer from another facility may add additional time before pickup is available.

Inspecting Shipments and Reporting Damage

Customers must inspect all packages upon delivery before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL). Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt or BOL.

At delivery, customers should:

  • count cartons and pallets
  • inspect the outside of boxes for visible damage
  • take clear photos of any damage or issues
  • keep all packaging until the issue is reviewed

Visible Damage or Missing Cartons

Visible damage and missing cartons must be written on the BOL at the time of delivery.

Please notify Shiny Cabinets as soon as possible, ideally within 24–72 hours of delivery, and provide photos plus the signed BOL if available.

Concealed Damage, Missing Parts, or Manufacturer Issues

All cartons must be opened and inspected within 5 calendar days of delivery.

Concealed damage, missing parts, or manufacturer-related issues must be reported to Shiny Cabinets within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Do Not Install Damaged Items

Do not install or assemble cabinets that are damaged or suspected to be damaged.

Installation may limit or void the ability to replace items through carrier or manufacturer claims.

Labor Disclaimer

Shiny Cabinets is not responsible for labor costs related to removal, installation, re-installation, or jobsite delays.

Delays Disclaimer

Shiny Cabinets cannot guarantee delivery dates.

We cannot avoid unforeseen shipping delays such as carrier issues, weather events, warehouse operating constraints, traffic disruptions, inventory transfer delays, or other circumstances outside our control.

This kind of disclaimer closely follows standard public language used by cabinet sellers and freight-based home product retailers.
