Return Policy
Because cabinetry is shipped through freight carriers and often involves special ordering, returns are limited and subject to the conditions outlined below.
Returnable Items
For standard cabinetry brands such as Forevermark and US Cabinet Depot, the following items may be eligible for return:
- Unassembled cabinets (RTA / flat-pack) that remain unopened and in their original packaging
- Cabinet parts such as panels, fillers, trim pieces, and similar accessories
Eligible returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Returned items must be sent back in their original packaging, unused, and in resalable condition.
Return Request Period
Customers must submit a return request within 7 days of delivery.
Return requests submitted after this period may not be accepted.
Once a return request is reviewed and approved, Shiny Cabinets will issue a Return Authorization (RA) document containing:
- the approved items for return
- the return warehouse address
- the deadline by which the return shipment must be sent
The return must be shipped before the deadline indicated on the Return Authorization document.
Return Authorization
All returns must be approved by Shiny Cabinets before being sent back.
Customers must contact customer service to request a Return Authorization prior to shipping any items back.
Returns shipped without authorization, or items returned outside the approved authorization period, may be refused by the receiving warehouse.
Non-Returnable Brands
Certain cabinetry lines are manufactured and delivered fully assembled as the standard configuration. These products are not eligible for return.
Currently, this category includes:
- Fabuwood Cabinetry
- Waypoint Cabinetry
Non-Returnable Items
For RTA cabinetry brands such as Forevermark and US Cabinet Depot, the following items are not eligible for return:
- Assembled cabinets
- Modified or altered cabinets
- Custom color panels or special-order items
- Clearance, discontinued, or bulk sale items
These items are manufactured, modified, or prepared specifically for the order and cannot be returned once the order has been processed.
Condition of Returned Items
All returned items must:
- remain unassembled
- be returned in original packaging
- be unused and in resalable condition
Items that have been assembled, installed, or altered in any way are not eligible for return.
To maintain eligibility for return, customers should limit opening of packaging to only the items necessary to inspect the order. Orders in which multiple boxes have been opened, assembled, or handled beyond reasonable inspection may not qualify for return.
Returns that arrive damaged, incomplete, or improperly packaged may be refused or subject to additional charges.
Refused Deliveries
Orders that are refused at delivery without a valid reason will be treated as returned merchandise and will be subject to the applicable restocking fee, return freight charges, and any carrier handling, redelivery, or storage fees incurred.
